Golden Music for the Golden State
The Golden West Pops has been playing as a group since 2003. It performs mostly “Pops” music with as wide a variety of styles as the venues we perform at.
Anything from Ragtime to Rock, show tunes, patriotic music, and even show classics thrown in.
We perform for schools, festivals, patriotic events, summer concerts, and even a football game or two.
The Golden West Pops is proud to contribute to our community through volunteer performances in the park, nursing homes, and even elementary schools.
Our mission is not only to provide entertainment but to inspire future generations to pursue their passion for music.

My life revolves around performing music and entertaining people. It gives me the greatest joy. I love conducting this group. From inception, the Pops has been an energetic and wonderful group of people. I am so thankful that I have had the opportunity to be a part of something "new and different" within the concert band circuit. The vision of the Pops from the very beginning has been to make music that people will enjoy. Being the first woman to conduct a Community Concert Band in the Orange County region has proven an experience. But it’s the people, the music, the audience, and the fun that make it all worthwhile.
